Manufacturing Engineer I – 6-Month Contract | Grand Rapids, MI

Redbock is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I to join the Medtronic team at their Watson Site in Grand Rapids, MI . This role is ideal for engineers with ~3 years of manufacturing experience who are eager to apply their skills in process improvement, Lean manufacturing, and ERP systems .

What You’ll Do:

• Support daily manufacturing problem-solving and process documentation within ERP systems
• Apply Lean Manufacturing and DMAIC methods to improve efficiency and product quality
• Assist in designing manufacturing processes, production layouts, and sequence of operations
• Inspect equipment and processes to ensure optimal performance and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to maintain high-quality standards

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• 3 years of experience in manufacturing or production engineering
• Strong understanding of Lean principles, DMAIC problem-solving, and ERP/document control systems
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative

Products: Work across a variety of products at the Watson Site, including ARVE, Aortic, and BHT devices
